The role is one of the key positions in the reporting function to provide efficiently, accurately and timely reports (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually) which comply with the external/internal reporting requirement as well as the accounting standards, policies, regulations and reporting processes.
Daily tasks
- Oversee daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations
- Participate in regular tax audits and payroll
- Monitor the daily performance of the accounting department at yours in charged
- Establish accounting policies and procedures, aligned with company’s targets
- Ensure compliance with the law
- Generating the company’s financial reports using income and expenditure data
Monthly closing
- Prepare all journal vouchers relating to payment/expenditure to ensure all necessary adjustments inputted into accounting system.
- Prepare budgeting reports and forecast revenues
- Manage month-end and year-end closing
- Ad-hoc / Others assigned task by Line Manager or Chief Accountant
Education level, certification: University graduated (Major: accounting & finance/auditing section). Master’s degree/CPA is an advantage
Experience:
- Minimum 05 years of working experience in Finance/Accounting department preferably in Consumer Finance/Banking sector.
- 2 years of experience in reporting and intensive experience in dealing with SBV regulations and reporting is an advantage
- Good knowledge in spreadsheet, numbers savvy and SBV’s requirement
- Basic knowledge: Knowledge of IFRS, VAS, Vietnam tax laws
- Competencies: Communication, organization, time management, reporting skill
- Computer skills: Excellent in Excel is an advantage
- Languages capability: Good command of spoken and written English and Vietnamese
